Iran’s High Council for Human Rights held the webinar with participation of experts from around the globe.
Tavakkol Habibzadeh, an expert in law, said in the webinar that the Zionist regime has repeatedly violated the international human rights standards, for example, from 1 November 2019 and 31 October 2020, it occupied Palestinians’ lands and imposed limitations on freedom of movement.
Other instances of the Zionists’ violation of human rights include land, air, and sea siege of Gaza for 14 years, he said, adding that the coronavirus pandemic puts further pressure on the health system of the area, which has been mentioned in the second report of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
The Zionists’ crimes also include violating Palestinians rights to determine their fate, exercising violence against their peaceful protests, destroying their homes, practicing apartheid against them, and destroying their hospitals.
The head of International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights, Salah Abdul Ati, said in the webinar that Israel hit civilian points that are definitely war crimes.
He added that some countries and international organizations supported the Zionist regime, which should be considered Israel’s aiders and abettors.
